Does this mean that AC must get back some of those crapped out 727's?

Realistically, how many days a year does this happen? Less than 2 dozen usually. Is an airline (any airline) going to order airplanes just for those 2 dozen days? Not likely. AC ordered the airplanes it did to meet the needs of it's WHOLE operation and business plan.
