I guess this might be too late for the OP - but yes, you can connect at T3 without going landside. Just follow the flight connections signs. Did it myself the other day transferring from a BA flight to an Eastern Airways one, but it turned out to be no use as I couldn't get a BP for the Eastern flight at the desk in departures, had to retrace my steps and go out, check in and back through security
