I booked a quick TP-Run from LHR-MAN and back again with BD.
As my BA flight is delayed I am checking what to do.
When I arrive at MAN I have still 25 Minutes from the ETA to the Gate closure of the BD flight (back to LHR).
Will I have to go through security when I arrive at MAN? Or do I just walk to the gate.
Any chance to mange it? or should I better refund my ticket?
For BA, you have to exit through arrivals, go upstairs and then through security.
For BD flights to and from LHR, these use Gate 18 which has no separation between arrivals and departures - you can simply get off the plane and then get back on it. Apart from weekends, when the Embraers regional jets get used sometimes, the plane arriving from LHR will be the same one heading back to LHR, so no risk of being stranded if the inbound flight is delayed.
