While KL did drop the 763 for a 73G did the net J seats on the route decrease?
PK was using a 742 or 777 that stopped in MAN to say nothing of the political uncertainties of Pakistan itself.
CI was, if memory serves, a late night departure that was not offered daily with a stop in SEA and no codesharing with CO aimed at connections onward in TPE.
All valid points, and again I agree with all of you that IAH has been neglected by CO for int'l expansions. But just trying to state that it's not like IAH is swamped with foreign airlines right now. In fact, the other day when I was driving in from Will Clayton and saw the list of airlines using Terminal D, my thought was "That's all? What a short list!".
And back to BA. Regardless of the non-stop/one-stop and LGW/LHR issue, BA is cutting capacity to IAH. Period.
As for KLM, the Privatair BBJ sits 44. I don't know how many seats there were on its 763, but it's not a humongous increase. [And of course, they lose a bunch of economy seats.]
