If you can stay 3 nights, the Le Meridien (Seam Reap) is a great deal if you can take advantage of the 'pay 2, stay 3 deal'. Worked out at $150/nt inclusive (3x $133+ additionals).
We were very well taken care of and the room was a deluxe room on the second floor, close to and overlooking the excellent pool.
For your tour you will need to buy a 3-day pass at the big kiosk/checkpoint on the road to Angkor Wat.
A tuk tuk from the LM into town, a few stops and back is $5-6;
