Uhhh....ok. I've done this flight several times and have never seen a speck of daylight in either direction or even recall a lowering of the window shade announcement. Maybe I've just always been asleep when there is daylight outside but I doubt it. Also, according to the in-flight map, this flight doesn't go east as much as it goes north and dips down to DEL through Russia.
