The closest thing to the Energy Corridor as far as golf is Bear Creek Golf World ( http://www.golfersweb.com/golfhous/bear.htm )

As far as things going on, not really aware of anything that weekend. If you want food suggestions, just send me a PM as I live in the energy corridor area (well, my S/O does).
