Might agree, but on some of my NRT-USA flights the service was no where on par with that of SFO-HKG. Should be noted SFO-HKG and LAX-HKG are usually staffed with HKG based crews.
Not sure about the crews ex-BKK, but the SIN based crews are a mix of original UA crew (pre 9/11) and some that once worked for SQ.
