Plusses of BOS-ORD-KOA
-longer flight to enjoy F
-F seating in domestic 777 has Empower

Plusses of BOS-SFO/LAX-KOA
-two ~5 hour flights breaks up the journey more

I personally would take the connection in LAX or SFO, even if I was stuck in E+ or exit rows. Its just too long to be cooped up in a domestic config'ed aircraft for my taste
