Yup it ended up not fitting in the LH locker so I just put it in a 2 Euro locker at the train station as you suggested below.

When going to town, you will have to immigrate, then emigrate, re-clear security to these lounges, immigrate, and re-clear security for EU, and roll it over to the departure terminal. As loads in FRA are very unpredictable but security is painful US-style, I stopped doing so. I'd still have breakfast there though.
If you go to FRA - the lockers at the main station cost a mere 2 Euros, great deal IMO.
Yeah, that's what I ended up doing... Went through passport control when I switched from C to B, lounged, left, and then only security to get back to the A gates, and no stupid shoe taking off.

The risk of loosing your luggage in FRA is indeed very large of the layover is less than an hour or more than 3 hours. My luggage stayed in FRA more than 10 times upon long layovers.
But then LH is real quick delivering it to your hotel .. so if you have clothes for one night that will definitely do .
Oh don't tell me that!

Ehm no ... some SEN lounges are not *G and some partner lounges serve as SEN but not *G lounges (they would not even let me in as a SEN when not on LH). But the FRA lounges are labelled as *G ones. I have been in there a 1K last week. Plus in Germany you can always insist on what there is written.
Indeed, they have let me in to both the B and A SEN lounges with a welcoming smile. Funny that UA won't let me use their pitiful showers, but LH has no problems!

This Star Gold card really works wonders over here. Reminds me of my old Player's Club Card!

Now if I could only figure out German computer keyboards, I'd be OK.
