I'll add a ^ for Dottie's as well. Yep, you gotta' get there early, and/or be prepared for a bit of a wait, but it's def. a good experience. Not plush, but not a dump at all either, and French Toast to die for for sure.

In August, if w/in walking distance of Union Square, (am trying to recall how far/close Hilton on O'Farrell is....), grabbing a cup of coffee & something from the bakery/cafe there, it's a good place for just relaxing & people watching.
