To reiterate just about everyone, definitely go for the 26". I spent 2.5 weeks in Sydney with a 26" while those with me each had 29"/30"....I could wheel my bag through train/ferry ticket gates while they couldn't. Ditto on the weight! The lighter the better! I actually used my mother's 26" as it's made out of super lightweight material and since Qantas can be a real stickler, I wanted to minimize unnecessary weight as much as possible...
And as useful as the 4-wheel bags are, whenever I see someone rolling one alongside them in the airport I'm always reminded of someone walking a dog...anyone else see the similarity?

Reason: didn't realize I wrote 29/20 until a week later!
