luggage

Good evening everybody.

According to your posts, I changed my mind about luggage, and I shall travel light : one rucksack (hand luggage), this is a special one with a place for the laptop and some room for a few things and a clothes change ; one checked 22' roller, approx weight loaded 15 kg.

About gifts to be bought in Japan, I plan to buy them on my way back (tipically I leave my roller at the Nagoya station lockers on my way back from Tokyo, I go to some department store and I make some shopping, including a cheap bag, and then I spend the night at the airport hotel !).

About Japan guides, I bought the very recent Michelin guide "voyager pratique Japon".

Being French, I must say that Michelin has a very good reputation in my country, because it is the only guide which does not need advertisement (Michelin products enough tyres to sponsor a guide, the first one appeared in 1900 !).

I shall give you feedback about my trip.

About Nagoya, Michelin gives the following addresses :

Yabaton, bargain, good for mitso-katsu.

Torigin Honten, chicken, middle price.

Hourai Ken, hitsumabushi, middle price (I like eels).
