It depends what you see as a MR... Europe is a difficult place for it and the best deal was the AirRail to gain LH status that time.
The LX C-class specials are good as well, as you mentioned.
I rather have a look at LH long haul C-Class offers ex AMS or ATH ! Yes, they run around 2000 EUR but for that price I get nearly 25K EQM and whats most important the trip is actually useful for me as I plan it into my vacation. Like BKK/SIN from ATH or YVR ex AMS ^
