Purely anecdotal counter-point to the thread... I flew on AA67 from ORD to DFW tonight in seat 10J, and the AVOD worked like a champ. Watched 3:10 to Yuma (great flic) from before takeoff until near approach. Aside from the flight being delayed >3 hrs, it was a most pleasant experience.
