There is a big difference between C and F here.

I flew C Class SFO NRT and the footrest was broken, and they didn't do anything about it.

I flew F Class on the next flight, and the TV screen wasn't working, and they went out of their way to fix it, even though I hadn't said anything, and then they gave me a bottle of Veuve Cliquot.

That was nice. But with the fares they charge in C, they owe you a lot more than they are offering.
