Flew SIN-NRT today in upgraded C using SWU, the video was semi-broken as it was loose and the screen wouldn't stay up so it's tilted to the side and not watchable. I went through a similar situation like this. Call customer service, they will more than likely offer you your choice of a "complimentary" unconfirmed NA upgrade, 2500 status miles or a discount voucher for NA travel. I went for the voucher mile combo. The initially will try to offer you a $75 NA voucher but hold out for a higher dollar( they based mine off my fare) and one you can use for Intl flights too.
