Nothing at www.chasepayyourtaxes.com about a double miles offer this year, which is discouraging, though consistent with what a Chase CSR suggested would happen this year when we spoke a couple of months ago. Wanted to look back through this thread to see when we started talking here about tax payment offers in 2006 and 2007. Can see that thread began in mid-February 2006 and we were soon going back and forth about the great opportunity this uncapped offer represented, continuing that conversation through 2006, with double miles in effect the entire year. Then it appears that in 2007 there was a post in January of the year followed by a "silent" period until December 2007, that is 11 months, when there were a few more posts. I don't know if that reflects a fall off in interest among FTers, perhaps because Chase cut things back with severe caps except around April 15th, or something else. Anyway, no choice but to wait and see what, if anything, is announced over the course of the next month. (I think if there is to be an offer for April 15 purposes, it must be made no later than March 1, maybe March 15 at the very latest.)

Other thoughts? No one has received a targeted pay-your-taxes offer, have they?
