arrived 2 days ago there were some military at the airport and along the road. checked in the the galle face regency.
watched the sunset from the terrace and then had a lovely dinner for like
$US12 at the fantastic restaurant at the seawall.
lots of gun boats offshore and they are practicing for the independence day parade on 4th at galle face green so that was interesting
went into CMB yesterday and bought a few things then went the the Mt Lavinia sea food restaurant last night it was absolutely sensational. got up at 6.30 am and headed for the aiport it takes an hour. easy checking
. very basic lounge. i ahd not ahd breakky so I was a bit hungry by the time they bought lovely fish curry on sq .now in the lounge
I wouldnt have missed the place for the world.
can hardly wait for another fab fare
