I had exactly that situation a few months ago and decided on the Hilton Mauritius. We leave in three weeks. I considered the Seychelles and Maldives also. The two factors that tilted the choice to Mauritius were ease/cost of getting to the resort from the U.S. West Coast and whether there other things to do outside the Hilton.
