An employee of mine will be travelling from CLT-SAN. This person is of a size that would make coach travel uncomfortable. I find that two coach seats are a good bit less than first class on the direct US flights which are operated with A320 hardware. Can anyone give any tips on booking two coach seats for one person and preventing the computer or some overeager gate agent from messing up what we are trying to do.

Also, I understand that row 11 (the furthest exit row) has a great deal of leg room. Can anyone confirm whether the armrests in that row are movable?
