But your flight was on Pinnacle; the E75 is Compass. Apparently Compass' policy is to only check all the way through; no gate checking that can be picked up on the jetway. Clearly, Pinnacle's policy is preferable (now if they only allowed more carryons...
) As AZJ mentioned upthread, this may all be streamlined soon (let's hope!)
