As many above have said, it really depends on your interests. Do you gamble or are you interested in any of the Vegas shows? If not, skip Vegas and go to San Diego. Despite being one of the most conservative counties in the U.S., it's a very gay friendly place, with lots of attractive men and much better gay bars than those you will find in Vegas.
