You should not have received stay credits or benefits, but you did, great for you, but I say this is a fluke. It appears that those two hotels need to be brought up to speed on Hilton Honors T&C and benefits. They are doing a disservice to all those who booked (those two hotels) thru the proper channels to earn points/stay credit.

As for the two property's that denied benefits, good for them.^^

With all due respect, I don't think this thread holds any value and I would REALLY HATE for someone, new to the Hilton Honors program and/or FlyerTalk, to read this thread, think they should receive credit, then book a room using a third party/opaque booking engine. Giving bad information is not in the spirit of FT.

Endorsing this would not be a good thing.
