Infants on the u/d? Interesting apparent shift in policy...

I have a flight back from YYZ in the summer and booked the upper deck bassinette rather than being stuck in the third cabin downstairs as it's a mid J config.

Just went into MMB and see that they have shifted me and the infant down to 20E, but have very considerately left my 3 year old son in 64B.

Worse still, it's only because I bothered to look that I actually saw this change had been implemented - no automated e-mail for me. Seems insane when there are only two bassinettes on the plane that the newly minted silvers get shunted to the back, whilst the next person to book with an ankle biter on the flight (and during the summer I guess there will be more than one onboard) will then get 64A.

BA - I want to love you, but you really do make it very very difficult...
