No two-doors, either: not so much as an unloved Chevy Cobalt or Mitsubishi Eclipse.

Nothing but (what Ward's Automotive would describe as) lower intermediates on the ES: Nissan Altimas (new, but all 4-cyl base 2.5S), last-generation Chevy Malibus, Ford Fusions, Dodge Avengers. Maybe 1 Chevy Impala, but no 2008 Taurus or 300/Charger. If you're faced with that selection, the Altima is tops but really needs cast wheels & sunroof to be a suitable F car in my book.
Well since Execs are guaranteed a full size and Altimas, Malibus, Fusions, Avengers, Impalas are full size in Rental Car Land...they were offered what they are guaranteed. We don't get the 3.5 ltr Altimas with sun roofs and classie wheels from Nissan...we've not received any new '08 Malibus yet, we don't own any 08 Taurus either, there just didn't happen to be any Chargers there, possibly all chosen before you arrived and the 300 is actually a Premium in Rental Land. How's that for a response. Not the one you wanted or possibly expected.
The SUV's/crossovers aren't guarantees in Exec land but sometimes you find them there. Quite possibly they were already picked over before you arrived and no other 'gifts' had been placed there before your arrival.
I'm sorry you were disappointed but you didn't list anything that's not supposed to be there. Not all cities have the same cars. But PHX does have a wider variety than most.
A lot of our customers like our Altimas being 2.5 ltr. They like the gas mlg.
