I am flying on a 777-300 at the end of October 08 from LAX-CDG -BCN in business class as well. So is 2E the best lounge we have a 4 hour layover until our flight to BCN. We are traveling on an award ticket also. We have never flown Internationaly or really in First/Business class. So we aren't really aware of the perks that are involved.

Business and first class get quite different services. For you in business there will not be a private escort nor a car ride, you will have to escort yourself through your connections. Make sure you have plenty of time (45mns is not enough to connect in CDG in most cases). You will be able to use the arrivals lounge in Terminal 2C (airside), shower and get breakfast, provided your connection is long enough and you arrive from LAX in the morning. You will also be able to use the "Acces numero 1" express lanes for immigration and security, where available.
