I would have to agree with AC on this one. A friend missed the cutoff for a flight, while everyone else with her made the flight, she was less than a minute after the cutoff, but they have to follow rules and draw the line somewhere. She was not however forced to pay the 150 dollar change fee. Waiting 20 minutes to check in at the J counter is pretty bad however, although I have waited longer.
