You were doing pretty well until you compared the F cabin with the Dining Room at the Ritz Carlton. F may once have been exclusive, but in case you haven't noticed, it is now just a greyhound bus with nicer seats and plenty of people with no class. If I have paid for my child's seat, he is certainly entitled to be there. (part of prior post).
No you did not read my post. No where did I say that the Dining Room at the Ritz Carlton (or like establishment) is the same as F on an AA a/c. The point is that my parents understood that certain places were for adults only and not young children. Period. My parents had the belief that children are to be seen and not hear.
And yes, some children are very well behaved and I take the time to compliment the parents. Unfortunately, when traveling this seems to be the exception and not the rule. And I have seen it all across economic classes, in fact, the "working professionals" seem to be the biggest offenders.
Note to PTravel, I also would find sharing the cabin with you on a flight a pleasant experience. You would be the perfect seat mate.
