I read about this story in a British publication. One thing very different between the story presented here and the story I read was the absence of the children's view.

In the story that I read, the children were taken into care. It's procedure here in the states unless other arrangements are made. Yes, the children were interviewed, medical exam and shower.

The girls claimed they had a good time. They were the center of attention being from another country. They were asked questions like "Do you know the Queen?" Something a child would ask another child.

The part about being checked on while asleep. Again, that's procedure. It's for the child's safety and protection.

This article sounds like something out of a story 150 years ago.

The children were brutally beaten, asked very personal questions, stripped, their things were taken from them, they showered while others watched.

This article didn't print the things that the girls said that were printed in the British publication.
