You might argue it, but AA doesn't. AC access is not allowed on itineraries solely within "North America," including USA (all 50 states), Canada, Mexico, Bermuda, Bahamas, and Caribbean.

Unless the OP is an AC member or can get access via a different means, he will have to buy a Day Pass in order to get in. The good news is that if he opts for the Day Pass, he will have access to the MIA, LAX, and HNL clubs on the day of travel. That might be worth the $50, if he visits all of the clubs, uses the internet, takes a shower at HNL, etc.


(Note that on his other itinerary 3 days later to Australia, he WILL have complimentary access because he will be traveling beyond "North America.")
