Mary, for clarity, are you saying other (Diamond?) members have gone during the summer and not gotten upgraded to Regency Club, or, not gotten upgraded to a better view? I would be hard pressed to believe that at ANY time of year Diamonds are not getting ocean even on the lowest rates or free night awards.

Perhaps my defense of Hyatt Maui is too strong, but, the view upgrade has been 100% fantastic each and every time, for me and for every Diamond account I am personally aware of.

This property delivers for Diamonds, in my book, unless you're wedded to Regency Club and feel like an oceanfront upgrade with a $30 free full breakfast is not enough ($60 if you've got two pax in your room).
