HHonors moves to no blackouts / no capacity controls

FYI. Randy posted in the Hilton HHonors forum this morning that effective in February, the HHonors program is dropping blackout dates for all members and moving to "if a standard room is available, an award can be redeemed for it" policy (a la Starwood). Also a banner ad on hhonors.com stating the same. According to Randy, award point costs will NOT be increased as a result of this change. Seems to put Marriott Rewards behind the competition.
