No offense meant to either poster, but "Godwin's Law" is probably the stupidest 'law' ever postulated.

If any conversation runs for an infinite amount of time it will eventually discuss any subject.

"Invoking" such a stupid 'law' when the subject matter gets sensitive for any reason is simply a desire not to participate in the discussion.
