An interesting way to end the day. Apparently we were not only coming in too high (on 10) but there was an unexpected tailwind, too (which wasn't predicted from that direction) right before touchdown. At least at that hour (1030pm), slots were not an issue despite the weather.
An aborted landing is an interesting experience. I had one into BLI several years back. We were hit with a gust right before touchdown too.
