Park Inns denied my best rate claim because its rate for the same room, which was more than $60 higher than its competitors, did
not include breakfast and its competitors' did. Think about that for a second. "No, sir, we won't abide by our pledge to beat a competitors' lower rate because the competitors' lower rate offers even more amenities than ours." I even told the folks at Park Inns that I wouldn't even take breakfast and didn't need them to throw in that benefit.
Oh, well. I'll take my money to a hotel chain that hopefully won't treat a customer like dirt by making an absolute mockery of its guarantee. The Grand Hyatt it is.
