Given Marriott's generally high ethical standards, I'm a little suprised they're not more upfront about some aspects of the MR program.
I -used- to think Marriott had 'high ethical standards', but after some dealings with them in regards to Kauai timeshares, I'll never trust them again, and usually have Marriott as last on my list of hotel choices.
Best to look in the mirror if'n you wanna see who's lookin' out for you...
