I am afraid there is no liability to UA. If you signed the charge for $380 then it is your liability completely. The only obligation of UA is to return the money in a reasonable timeframe (30 days I would suspect). If you did not sign it then it is probably just a hold on this amount no actual charge, so UA has nothing to do with it.

In short: never, ever, in no case use debit cards for purchases. Worse things may happen. Any accidental mistake made by a sales clerk becomes your responsibility and your problem.
