Too late...

I was there and met the owner and the waitress. When I apologized, I really felt that it was a load off her mind. I explained that in my country this comedian is not "so beloved". The owner (who spoke better English) told me as well that Mr. Bean is "very popular in Thailand" and that it was a "praise" comparing me with him.

When I came back the road about one hour later, the waitress beckoned me over, and I had dinner there. We didn't speak one single word about the incident, but in a quiet moment the owner came to my table and whispered a real "thank you".

And I promise that next time I will honor when somebody compares me with a movie star (at least here in Asia).

Finally I think that going there for apologizing was the best possible solution for all of us.
