It happens on the ATL-LGW route sometimes. Its a pretty random occurance and what they do with the cabin varies.

-open it at the airport if there are a lot of opups, first come first serve
Yeah, it reportedly happens a lot in LGW given the mixed configs on mixed routes on different days of the weeks. Shiny cards get priority.
