I am new here and have been looking for a good way to get special deals on South African in business on the direct flights..I heard about the two for one as well as with Amex Platinum but there are never any seats. I have done BA before via Heathrow but would like to find a way to go from the east coast without going via Europe....I know there are deals out there with Delta but there biz class is nothing great (putting it mildly) and I don't think anyone else goes direct to J Burg or Capetown from North America

Also, I am looking to go to South America and know that SAA flies from Sao Paulo to J Burg nonstop and the fare from Brazil is much less than from the U.S.

Is there such a thing as a 'combined' fare for biz of 1st class air for travel between the U.S., South America, and South Africa without doing an Around the World?
