Hi all,

I'm about ready to lose my mind at the moment. I am looking to book a trip from IAH-LAX on the evening of February 13, yet my search keeps yielding that the one-way ticket would cost me $409. An astonishingly huge fare for such a short flight, so I decided using OnePass miles would be the best deal. I can't, for the life of me, figure out HOW to search for reward availability for a one-way trip. When I get to the reward search screen, my only choices are Roundtrip and Multi-Destination, and if I hit Multi-Destination, and then choose One Way, it takes me to the regular search screen giving me fares and not reward availability. Any advice on what to do would be greatly appreciated. And further, why would a simple IAH-LAX flight be so expensive?
