Terrible Experience With Price Drop
I was trying to get a price adjustment for a fare to that dropped $200. Called NW and they told me that i had two choices...to either deduct a $50 administrative fee from the total credit drop of 200 and get a voucher of ~$150 or deduct a $100 admin fee for essentially a refare of the trip and get a 90 something dollars back on my card...
anyways...i took the choice of getting a refare for the 100 bucks admin fee.. since i don't particularly like NW(Terrible experiences), but they get me where i need to go for good fares. yesterday i got an email that said i got a voucher?..not exactly what i wanted....
called up NW again and they said that there was only one option available if the price drops and it is the voucher option.. they do not do refunds back to the credit card. I was trying to being calm about the situation..(A bit fumed)...but the supervisor guy raised his tone made the situation worse..
now im stuck with a voucher instead of the refund that i wanted...
So is there such a rule to get a refund back to the card or is it really one option only in the form of a voucher for future references....Thanks.
