This hotel is one of the best steals in the city. They did a great renovation, which it badly needed. The higher rooms have views, the lower ones are like any other in Manhattan. All the kinks from the switch over have been worked out. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are really clean, and the beds are really comfortable. Rates are usually pretty good, a little bit lower than Ritz/Four Seasons etc and they can usually upgrade you

The restaurant is OK, I think it is trying to find its feet still - even though its been open a year. Pricey, without the Gordon Ramsey you might even rate forgettable. The bar is cool though

Location of the hotel is great. I have stayed there 4 times since it reflagged, each time it gets better. It started like a new hotel that was trying to find its feet, now it is has got the formulate just right. You will definitely enjoy your stay there.
