I would not plan on the upgrade, so if it does happen it's a nice unexpected surprise. Do expect buffet breakfast daily as an SPG Plat. You should get a bottle of wine, fruit and unlimited water too. Maybe even a polo shirt with the hotel logo.

If any problems arise, the GM is onsite and very helpful. All staff are helpful, but sometimes not aware of the finer details of SPG, Cash & points, etc.

Most importantly, enjoy the hotel and beach.
