I know they say it is for higher yielding routes, and two more are supposed to be announced. What I do wonder is if it is to allow for the upgrade to the cabin and IFE that they have announced.
Regardless NZ is getting out of the "Coral Route" that they and there statutory predecessors used to be proud of and also NZ airpoints are earned on fewer routes....I seemed to have missed Ed Sims saying how much better it will be for NZ Airpoints members....
