It is formally announced, and seems to apply immediately. The flights are still in the res. system but with 0 seats available in all classes and in some cases Cancelled showing.
However, UA will not rebook you for future dates at the moment as they are discussing who will take the route over!
Not very impressed really as I would have thought UA would have really tried to help in the circumstances.
