Sorry - but I'm not agreeing with that. I've never experienced that type of behavior from a TSO in Hawai'i.
As for "OGG not being designed for TSA type security.....what airport was?
Cholula asserted "And the lines at OGG, due to increased security, are some of the longest in the U.S.". That is his subjective opinion and factually innaccurate, also, I'm afraid.
Sorry you feel that the "unpleasant experience" passing through Hawai'i security is the majority......I'll have to take my place in the minority section.
Mrs kaukau and I might just fit some in this forum's notion of "sheeple", with our kippie bag, ID and BP's in good order, slippahs off, no jewelry or belt buckles on our person, etc., etc.......but we just breeze through security here in Hawai'i slicker than snot with just a couple of "Howzit"s and "Aloha"s, dozens and dozens of times a year.
Wish the same for you all!
Aloha Kakou!
