I have a laptop now and was planning to fly pretty often over the next year... my question to you elite flyers is whether Empower is a worthy buy or not.

I mean, I keep on hearing about stories where it is not activated on many flights using either 3 class equipment, or the new domestic First seats.

What are your experiences? Is it mostly hit, or mostly miss? I don't want to buy the thing only to find out it is useless half the time...
