I'm flying AF metal from CDG to IAH next month. The ticket is booked with DL with a DL flight number (the flight is a DL/AF codeshare flight). My seat assignment in coach is back of the plane. Most of the seats at the front of coach are open and are reserved for Skyteam Elite (maybe Elite Plus). I'm DL Plat.

I called DL to get a better seat. They requested bulkhead aisle for me and said I had it. After the call, that seat showed up as my assigned seat on my delta.com itinerary, but the seat map still showed the seat as unassigned. Today I look at my itinerary on delta.com. My old seat assignment at the back of the plane has returned and the seat I wanted still shows as unassigned.

I call DL. They try to request that seat for me again, but they say AF is rejected the request. They try several other seats with the same results and tell me I have to call AF. I call AF and they say yes I should be able to reserve that seat -- they can see my Elite Plus status -- but they say they can't do the seat assignment and that DL must do it.

So, I'm getting the run around. No one seems to be able to assign me the seat I want, even though they all agree that I have the status to get it.

Any suggestions?
